Watch Manchester Derby: Man Utd vs Man City live striming (ringan) as the Pellegrini brings his team to Old Trafford as EPL leaders on October 25, 2015.

One concern for Manchester United heading into the weekend was the fact they have had to take in a long trip to Moscow while Manchester City were playing at home in the Champions League, but none of the fans at Old Trafford will want to hear excuses. This is a game where Manchester United can prove they are a genuine Premier League title contender, especially facing their local rivals missing their two best players.

The League table potentially has a different look for Manchester United and Manchester City when this game kicks off, but the Red Devils come into the weekend in 3rd place and trailing their rivals by 2 points. The foundation for the successful start of the season has been built at home where Manchester United are 3-1-0 so far in the League, scoring 7 goals and conceding 1 in those games.

Manchester United had another successful trip to Moscow after coming from a goal behind to earn a 1-1 draw, although they might have looked a little more for the winning goal against a tiring opponent. The side have lost 1 of their last 7 games in all competitions, while Manchester United are unbeaten in 8 at Old Trafford in all competitions. In fact, Manchester United have won 6 of their 7 games played here so far this season.

Paddy McNair and Ashley Young could potentially both return to the squad for the first Manchester derby of the season.

It was a really strong start to the season for Manchester City, but they suffered a real blip last month although recent results have been trending in the right direction again. A win over Sevilla in the Champions League sets them up to qualify for the Second Round in that competition, but now they make the short trip across Manchester to take on a rejuvenated rival.

Manchester City are the leaders of the Premier League table coming into the weekend games, but they might have been knocked off the top by Arsenal who are expected to beat Everton on Saturday. The Citizens have a solid 3-0-1 away record in the League this season, scoring 7 goals and conceding 4 in those games.

Since losing 4-1 at White Hart Lane to Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City have won 4 straight games in all competitions and out-scored teams by a 15-4 margin. Manchester City have won 5 of their last 6 away games in all competitions this season, but only one of those has happened since the defeat at Tottenham Hotspur in their last Premier League away game.

Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri may return to the squad for Manchester City, but the big news out of the international break were the losses of David Silva and Sergio Aguero to injury.

Each team won their home Premier League game against the other last season which included Manchester United’s come from behind 4-2 win over Manchester City at Old Trafford. That result also ended a 4 game winning run for Manchester City in the Manchester derby. In fact, Manchester United had lost 3 in a row at Old Trafford to Manchester City prior to that result too.
